Affiliate Marketing

Hello. My name is Craig Alinder and I have been an affiliate marketer for over three years. While that does not seem like a long time, in that time I have been able to generate close to a million dollars worth of commissions. The bulk of these commissions, over half a million dollars worth, were earned in 2007. That is well over a $5,000,000 in sales. 

There are many areas I am just getting started in, and I intend to learn quickly. Learning quickly is the name of the game in affiliate marketing, because if you learn a technique too late it may no longer be worth anything. In the last year competition within the affiliate marketing sphere has gotten much more intense, but I still feel like there are few people doing big things and a whole lot of people just getting their feet wet.

It seems as if it has always been this way. New affiliate marketers tend to dabble for a while and then just give it up. This is probably a result of all those “Make Easy Money on the Internet” scams that claim affiliate marketing is easy money. It is not, so if you are looking for easy money, then find another business.

I have started this blog to share my experiences and to engage others in a dialogue that will benefit everyone involved. Within affiliate marketing, many people are very sensitive about their programs and techniques. There is a need for more dialogue. If nowhere else, then let it take place here.
