- The traffic is well-matched with your product. PPC advertising comes from Google search engine or other websites with relevant content to that topic. Which means it is well-matched and targeted. People are looking for something on the web and find your website from search engine, so they are in strong buying mode. The case is much different when compared to MySpace or Twitter where people browse such websites to chat and make friends and not to buy anything.
- Can be used to test one keyword. In case you use SEO or bum marketing, you need to invest days or perhaps weeks to write hundred of articles and get ranked. If the keyword is profitable and worth targeting, that’s fine. However, what if search term is not worth targeting, with less conversion? All your hard work will be wasted. However, with PPC the situation is different since the traffic comes instantly. You can easily track the performance. Does they sign up to your list? Will they buy something from you?
- Not much trouble with Google’s rules. Achieving good ranking with normal SEO process requires several work to do. For example, you need to aim for proper keyword phrase with less competition, wait for several weeks or months to get ranked, create quality content and finally build much backlinks to your site. However, PPC doesn’t work that way. You can have your websites appear in Google’s first page without much problem.
